by Eric Wesley '96 was Miguel San Miguel '97 is a visiting assistant professor in the Texas A&M University College of Architecture, College Station, where he teaches drawing and design studios.
The 2002 Whitney Biennial Exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, includes work by Evan Holloway '98. He had a solo exhibition last fall at The approach [sic], London, England. "Drawings of Ione," a solo show of pencil drawings by Salomon Huerta '98, was on view at Patricia Faure Gallery, Santa Monica, California, in September and October. Carlo Ponti, Jr. '98 is music director and principal conductor of the San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra, California. In January, the "furor scribendi" group show at Angles Gallery, Los Angeles, included works by Kevin Appel '99. He had a solo show at Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York, last fall. |
Crazy Space Gallery, Santa Monica, California, exhibited the work of Marcia Binnendyk '99 in December. Works by Brandon Lattu '99, Amir Zaki '99, and Florian Maier-Aichen '01 were featured in the exhibition "Vision Embraces the World" at Echo Park Projects, Los Angeles, last summer. "No Place Like Home," a solo exhibition by Delia Brown '00, opened in October at Margo Leavin Gallery, Los Angeles. She was also represented in the interactive exhibition "Seeing" at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Santa Monica College, California, has named Kevin McKeown '00 as band director. Peter Morris '00 is band director at Adams State College, Alamosa, Colorado. Last August, "Out of Bounds: Working Off Paper," an exhibition at the Luckman Gallery, California State University, Los Angeles, included work by Mungo Thomson '00. "Opera Diponegoro," an Indonesian opera presented in Solo, Indonesia, earlier this year, featured Eko Supriyanto '02. Last year, he was one of the dancers accompanying Madonna on her world tour.
