| The architectural office of Frederick Fisher ('75) and Partners was recently named a historic cultural landmark by the City of Los Angeles. The firm restored the 1950's building, which was designed by A. Quincy Jones, and its courtyard gardens. James Horner '76 was nominated for an Academy Award this year for his film score for "A Beautiful Mind."
Last fall, "Painting and Photographs," a solo exhibition by Jo Ann Callis '77, was on view at Craig Krull Gallery, Santa Monica, California. Cynthia
Winton-Henry '79 is Koning Eizenberg Architecture, the firm of Julie Eizenberg '81 and Hank Koning '81, did the redesign and expansion of the Plummer Park Community Center, West Hollywood, California. They are currently working on the restoration and expansion of the historic Farmers Market in Los Angeles. Works

James McNamara '82 is head of the branding strategy group at LaPlaca Cohen, a New York based advertising, branding, and marketing communications company specializing in reaching cultural audiences who visit museums and attend performances.
Janet Klein '83
and her band, Janet Klein and her Parlor Boys, have released two CDs of
songs from the 1910's, 1920's, and 1930's. The group performed at the
Freight and Salvage, Berkeley, last spring, opening for Robert Crumb and
his Cheap Suit Serenaders.

Stephanie Henry '85 is the founder and artistic director of the Kansas City Women's Chorus. She teaches music at Notre Dame de Sion High School and is director of music for Southminster Presbyterian Church. In May, maestro Raymond Torres-Santos '86 premieres his new work, "Millennium Symphony," with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra in San Juan.
