Parijat Desai '98
was one of six Los Angeles artists awarded a $25,000 Durfee Fellowship. The award
was given in recognition of her choreographic achievements. Last fall, the Dance
Moving Forward Festival 2000 at Beyond Baroque, Venice, California, presented
"Body as Text," featuring choreography and performances by Desai and by Ilaan
Egeland '99. Sen Hea Ha '98 performed in the first annual
Electric Collective, a new dance series presented by The Electric Lodge & Body
Weather Laboratory, Venice, California. 
Sen Hea Ha Paintings by Salomón Huerta '98 were on view
at Patricia Faure Gallery, Santa Monica, California, last fall. His work will
be exhibited this year at Gagosian Gallery, New York and London.
Brad Shank '99 is associate editor for Cherry Lane Magazines, New York, where
he edits two music education magazines targeting elementary and middle school
students. |
"What,
Are You Jealous?" a solo show by Delia Brown '00, was on
view at D'Amelio Terras, New York, last fall. Her paintings were
also included in "Library," a group show at Margo Leavin Gallery,
Los Angeles, last summer.

Work by Rebecca Niederlander '00 was included in "Fahrenheit
2000," an exhibition at Cypress College, Cypress, California, last
fall. She has contributed essays for catalogues by the Los Angeles
County Museum of Art and Scripps College, La Jolla, California.
A solo
show by Mungo Thomson '00 was at Margo Leavin Gallery, Los
Angles, last fall.
