Ed Moses '58 had two recent exhibitions. "Oh Ed and Bjork" was on view at Imago Galleries, Palm Desert, California, in December; another solo show was on exhibit in the winter at Klein Art Works, Chicago, Illinois.

"Celebrating Modern Art: The Anderson Collection," a major retrospective exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art last October to January, included works by Ed Moses '58, Tony Berlant '64, and Vija Celmins '65.

Works by Charles Garabedian '61 were exhibited last February and March at L.A. Louver Gallery, Venice, California.

"Resolutions: A Stitch in Time," a large-scale collaborative art project by Judy Chicago '62, opened at the Skirball Cultural Center, Los Angeles, in January and runs through April 2001.

"The Color of Winter," a solo show by Robert Glenn Ketchum '70, was on view at College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, Maine, earlier this year. Ketchum was named the 2001 Outstanding Photographer of the Year by the North American Nature Photography Association.

Karen Carson '71, Maura Bendett '87, Lynne Berman '91, and Sandeep Mukherjee '99 were among the artists whose works were included in a group exhibition, "The Importance of Being Earnest," which opened at Occidental College, Los Angeles, in January. Drawings by Mukherjee were exhibited last fall at Margo Leavin Gallery, Los Angeles.

Annalee McDonough Allen '72 writes a weekly column, "Landmarks," for the Oakland Tribune, Oakland, California, and heads the Oakland Tours Program, conducting walking tours of historic downtown districts.

Frederick Fisher '75 was the architect for the expanded Long Beach Museum of Art, Long Beach, California. Among his current projects is the new Bronya and Andy Galef Center for Fine Arts at the Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles.

The musical film scores for last year's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Perfect Storm" were composed by James Horner '76.

Billie Tsien '77 is a recipient of the Harvey S. Perloff chair in the UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design for 2000-2001. She has worked with fellow architect Tod Williams since 1977 and they have been in partnership since 1986. Their design for the Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, California, won a National AIA Honor Award.

Shannon Dolan '78 lives in Sydney, Australia, where she teaches, directs, and choreographs for the National Institute of Dramatic Art and the Australian Theater for Young People.

Elyse Grinstein '78 has been working on numerous pre- and post-Northridge earthquake remodeling projects at the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, including 11 graduate student studios. She is currently designing the interiors for the school's new lounge and bookstore.

Last fall, President Clinton appointed Hsin-Ming Fung '80 to the National Council on the Arts, which reviews grant applications, funding guidelines, and leadership initiatives for the National Endowment for the Arts.
