Welcome to the Web site of the UCLA Center for Intercultural Performance. There are two main components to this site.

To request further information or to communicate with Center staff contact us. We would love to hear from you.

Program Information

About Us - includes the Mission Statement, an outline of Center sponsored programs, and links to the Staff and advisory groups.

Workshops - a look at the goals and curricular activities of CIP organized workshops.

Fellowships - selection criteria and application information.

Conferences - program of the 1997 Inroads/Asia Conference and the objective for the 2000 Dance/Media Conference.

Public Events - announcement of upcoming public events.

Meet the Artists

A favorite section of the site to some viewers. These pages appeal more to emotion rather than reason or as some have put it the right side of the brain over the left. We're tried to present a small sample of videos and music clips to give you a taste of the work conducted at the Center. Of course there is still some interesting text as we introduce the fellows sponsored by Center programs.

Profiles - biographical sketch and photographic images of artists who have participated in CIP programs.

The Salon - a glimpse of performance and videography projects in various stages of development and experiment during CIP workshops.

The Club House - a collage of sound and images jukebox and video clips introducing a sampling of work created or performed by CIP artists.
