The UCLA National Dance/Media Leadership Group

A core Leadership Group from the fields of documentation, choreography, dance history, ethnology, library sciences, American studies, television, film and new media technologies convene annually at UCLA for a series of three-day working sessions/learning seminars beginning in 1997.

The group functions as a research and development think tank, formulating and advancing theory and practice on the key issues concerning the use of media in the documentation of dance. It is specifically charged with planning and guiding the National Conference on Dance, Media, and Documentation; shaping the UCLA National Dance/Media Fellowship Program and selecting the Fellows; and providing guidance and direction to the National Dance/Media Project as a whole.

For a complete list and biographical information of current members in the Leadership Group, please see Save As: Dance.
