The Asia Pacific Performance Exchange II (APPEX) brought together thirty-eight artists, musicians, and dancers from Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Myanmar, Vietnam, and the United States for an intense workshop devoted to artistic exchange, creative experimentation, intercultural exploration and collaboration.

These artists brought an openhearted willingness to forge ahead into the unknown; APPEX offered them the means and opportunity, and they came together as truly intercultural collaborative teams.

We are proud to present four works-in-progress created by the APPEX artists. These projects demonstrate the possibilities of intercultural experimentation and resulted in some intriguing creative works.
